This section of the site showcases projects that apply computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and biomechanical modeling to simulate realistic blood flow scenarios in human arteries. Each project explores a different vascular configuration to examine how fluid viscosity, geometry, and time-varying flow interact to influence wall shear stress and pressure dynamics.
Simulations were performed using ANSYS Fluent 2023 R2, with post-processing in CFD-Post. These models are useful not only for academic exploration but also for understanding disease-prone zones such as arterial bifurcations and occluded vessels.
